# Introducing Gateway

The HMATIX range of products introduces a unit which incorporates many features associated with a generic automation module, but one which enables the projetc developer to address the needs of a specific application.

## Standard Features

- **Logic and Control MCU**: PIC18F45K22.
- **Operational Requirements**: PSU: LDO , 5VDC Operating Voltage.
- **Programmeing**: ICSP, Bootloader capable.

### Software options

- Custom Code: Ideal for developers, designing bespoke applications (MCU is blank)
- Application Code: Unit is purchased with an off the shelf option
- Bespoke Code: Haventechnik develops a custom code to facilitate a specific application.

### Inputs

- 4 Opto coupled, linked to MCU
- 2 Analog inputs, linked to MCU

### Outputs

- 4 Relay outputs, actuated by MCU

### Interfaces

- Header for Ultrasonic Sensor (Distance measuring, Water Reservouir)
- 2 x Microbus clickBoard interfaces
- USB UART (CH330N Inteface)

### MikroBus Click Boards

The MikroBus standard is supported by Mikroe, and they have a wide variety of clickboards available. This concept allows for a new board or adaptor to be added to an existing application, requrieing only a software update for the board to be operational. 
Implementing this tactic in maintaining PCBs in field means that an existing application can be upgraded to a new sensor and restore operations in a few minutes.
