# Introduction

**H-MATIX: Smart Relay **is a configurable module that enables the user to adapt the module to their specific application. It has two modes of operation, standalone and wireless.

## Product Features

The following features are available in the H MATIX Smart Relay:

- Dual Mode Operation
  - Stand Alone
    - Opto-input triggers response
    - Response configured by DIP-switches
  - RF Activated
    - Encoded address
    - Address update is only possible via a software update
- Smart Mode Operation
  - Select one of the available modes to determine how the device responds to the input
  - Alternatively, configure the module for wireless operation
- DIP Switches
  - DIP Switch Configuration, 4-BIT binary code offering 16 configurations
  - Adjusting the DIP Switches and then resetting the module updates the module's operation.
- Sample Code
  - Sample code provided
  - Customise the product's operational firmware to suit requirements
- Advanced Usage
  - Repurpose existing features to accommodate bespoke applications. 
    - Ultrasonic Sensor Integration
