Introducing the Raspberry PI
The Raspberry Pi is a debit card-sized low-cost computer that connects to a computer Desktop or TV and uses a standard mouse and Keyboard, with the option of a headless operation or no Monitor.
The PIs have a dedicated processor, memory, and a graphics driver, just like a PC. It also comes with its operating system, Raspberry Pi OS, a modified version of Linux

The PIs include standard interfaces that are compatible with the standard desktop, and make it simplifies the process of integrating the PI with an automation application.
Communication interfaces include
- Ethernet
- WIFI
Data Storage
- SD CARD - Reserved for operating system
- USB Ports
