The series has introduced the #PIC16F18877 family of devices as a viable and competent choice in replacing the #PIC16F887. As shown in the table below, the family offers a range of choices, all of which are supported by the #Radix Family of PIC Development PCBs.
One of the key advantages is that any code written for a device in the family, can in theory be deployed to another device in the family, whether this requires more or less resources.
- Radix Nano 18 - there is no 18 PIN device in the family
- Radix Nano 20 A and B PIC16F18313, PIC16F18325
- Radix Nano 28 A and B PIC16F18855, PIC16F18857
- Radix Duo and Sepia PIC16F18876, PIC16F18877
- Radix Echo - there is no device in the family
