The SCALAE Relay has been designed to be easy to use, with no complicated setup required.
The PCB layout has the inputs and the outputs on opposite sites of the PCB.
- PWR: This is the connection point for the input power, which is 5Vdc.
- Inputs: The dry contact input signal that triggers the output
- Outputs: The relays that switch when triggered.

The PWR connector is located with the input strip, and on the left-hand side. Your input voltage should be within the operating range of the coil voltage. In this instance the coil voltage is 5Vdc.
Instructions:
- Connect the +Ve supply to the left-hand pin
- Connect the -Ve supply to the right-hand pin
The optocoupler inputs are designed so that when the two connectors are closed, this completes the circuit activating the output of the optocoupler which activates the relay. The inputs are best suited to one of the following uses.
- Push button input or switches
- An MCU output that switches low
Each input is directly coupled to an output, therefore Input1 will switch Output 1. The relays are configured in the standard output
- NC Normally Closed
- NO Normally Open
